How To Get Some Proper Sleep?

At 14, I set my alarm clock at 5am to wake up in the morning to played an addictive MMORPG called MapleStory during my High School years. Now, I decided to set my alarm clock at 7am the way people normally wake up. The problem is that after I wake up at 7am. I go back to sleep because I was too tired. So, I went to get some sleep until around 9am. That was the biggest mistake I had ever made choosing to do that so I can played MapleStory. It wasn't worth it and I regretted it.
But, I learned that I should get 8-9 hours of sleep as both a teen and an adult. As a teen, I was supposed to get 8-9 hours of sleep from 11pm-7am. But, instead I went to bed from 10pm-5am which was about 7 hours of sleep which wasn't enough amount of sleep I was supposed to get as a teenager.
