If I see another vocabulary word in the meaning of the definition I'm looked up I look up that definition too just to know what the previous vocabulary means.
To help me understand a definition, I would read definitions use in an example to understand the definition better because it can be helpful and help me to create sentences using definitions. What also helps me when I learned a new word I can just read the meaning of it before or after inside the passage of that paragraph.
