Hope so...Conclusion

Romans 15:13 (New King James Version)

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As I get back to writing, I know that I stated in my last post that as of June 1st I would begin writing about my study of the Book of Romans. Technically, I am in the Book of Romans but in my last post I knew that I had left many holes in my post, therefore, I must address my last post in more depth. I never made it to second half of my last post; which was to explain “peace in believing so that we can abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

God is a supernatural being, meaning He is Spirit. Though He is Spirit He has chosen to manifest (or make know) Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit! This being the case, God has chosen through the person of the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts (as a seal of redemption and as the guaranteed promise of our inheritance, which we will receive through Jesus) where we can have constant communication with Him. It is in the heart of man where this supernatural God has chosen to dwell; this is why we can be filled with joy and peace. Since God is the author and creator of joy and peace, we as believers can experience these attributes of God.

(Let me be honest, I am not trying to write something that is polished but rather I am free writing on what I believe, so please do consider these posts commentaries. I am just a man seeking God and eager to learn more about Him.)

As a child of God I am expectant of the promises of God for my life. When God tells me He is going to fill me with ALL joy and peace, I want to know what that means. I want to experience this joy and peace everyday of my life, however, this is my hope. I believe that is why Paul wrote the verse, because he too wanted to be apart of knowing the God of hope who gives His children all joy and peace through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is why I wrote this series of posts, to explore what the means and though in this final post I have not given it much credit as it deserves I will once again come across this verse and when that times comes it is my hope by then I have a greater understanding of that verse. AMEN and AMEN
