I feel that God is drawing me to Denmark at a time when Danes are in great need of developing a personal relationship with Jesus. It is my Danish inheritance through my grandmother which connects me to Denmark and the Danish people. I pray that Denmark will see a Christian Renewal and people will draw closer to Jesus in their everyday lives. I am filled with hope for Denmark as it continues to uphold Christian values. I believe that Renewal will come through Vineyard Denmark and Vineyard Nordic churches, whose worship music and fellowship encourages people to develop an individual relationship with Jesus.
My own personal renewal seems to be developing in parallel to the development of Vineyard Nordic, which convinces me that God is calling me to continue upon this path of discovering my Danish identity. As I learn more about myself, I will take another step towards my mission to Denmark. I follow the development of Vineyard Nordic with great interest and hope that one day in the near future I will be able to make connections with Vineyard churches in Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia. My Danish Christian family awaits me, although they do not yet know me.
