Just throwing out thoughts as they come to me....
Heaven, what might it be like?
I never really thought too hard about it when I was a believer. I knew it was the most wonderful place ever. No evil, sadness, pain, anger, tears, ect... You get to be with God, and worship and praise Him all the time with the angels. And it was a beautiful place, where you get to see everyone, including your family! You might even be able to see what is going on on Earth. This was pretty much my perspective on Heaven back in the day.
Now I really think about what it would be like...
People don't understand how I can have a point to life without God. Well, I don't understand what the point to their life is, when it's just to go to Heaven.
Look...
What's the point of Earth? ... to get you and others to Heaven with God
And what's the point of Heaven? ... to be with God
And what's the point of being with God? ... um... because He says you will be happy and healthy praising him forever and ever
And what's the point of being happy and healthy, praising forever and ever? ..........

Yeah, I don't see one. It seems to me, that being happy and healthy, and praising FOR ETERNITY is pretty darn pointless.
No pain, no gain, no challenge, no growth, no change.... what's the point??!
You're basically telling me, that the point of your life is to worship and follow Jesus. Then you get to go to Heaven, where you will stay forever in an eternal state of bliss.
Nope. That's a pretty pointless point.
