It's been raining every day for over 2 weeks now. Here in Florida it's not the raw rain that chills you to the bone, but a soothing tepid rain. I remember as a child living in NY and in the summer when it rained, my sister and I would go out and walk in the puddles, stomping and splashing each other. Even when we were grown there was a time when we were walking on the dock down by the water and it had just rained, leaving nice big puddles. Here we were in our 50's and we both got the same idea at the same time. A nice big puddle was calling us to stomp. So I did. Got her good. Then I looked to my left and sitting in a pick-up truck were two men with wide grins on their faces. Yup, they saw the whole thing. I was quite proud of myself for getting my sister, but then I noticed all the water running down my legs. But it was all worth it. Brought back some great memories of our childhood. I think it's good to act like kids once in a while.
