Today is an amazing day! I woke up in such a wonderful mood, and God has already revealed Himself to me today.
What more can I ask for? When I rep people, I like to do so with scripture. God told me to do this months ago, but today I feel like His Word was moreso for me and what I have been going through than perhaps for the people I rep. Of course I do not know the difficulties they face in their lives.

“But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.”
- Psalm 103:17-18
- Psalm 103:17-18

If you have read my previous entries, you will understand how this relates to my life. I have had difficulties with doubt, and I have recently come to a deeper understanding of what the fear of God actually is. I have also felt that God could never forgive and forget my doubt, but once again I am reminded of His never ending mercy, grace and love.
The key is fear. I have heard many people, including Christians, say that they do not believe we should fear God. I completely disagree with this. Before reading the Old Testament, it was difficult for me to understand how you could fear a loving God. Now I do see. God loved the Israelites even when they sinned against Him; they were His chosen people. Even with the immense amount of love God had for His people, He never failed to punish them for their wrongdoings. Does God 'punish' us today? I believe that He does. Perhaps a better word would be chastise, but in the end they both mean the same thing. Of course it is no longer with immediate death that God punishes us; we live under grace. However, if we fail to repent it will ultimately lead to a death more horrible than any of us can truly imagine.
