Just a little something that I liked from Jeff Bernstein at Gates Of Zion
Understanding the Feasts of the Lord prepares us to better understand how to communicate the truths of salvation from a Jewish and biblical perspective.
Jewish people understand Passover and Passover is all about the Messiah.
1Cor. 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeedMessiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
Put two and two together and you have a powerful means of communicating the gospel in a way Jewish people can see and understand that this message belongs to them!
In Christian apologetics there are a series of scriptures used to communicate the way of salvation taken from Paul's letter to the Romans called "Roman's Road". However effective these scriptures are with gentiles, there are other scriptures that are much more readily understood when you are communicating to a Jewish audience.
It has become my custom to say, that to reach Jewish people with the gospel, one needs to exit "Romans Road" and enter the "Torah Turnpike". The five books of Moses contain all one needs to communicate the message of Yeshua in a thoroughly Jewish context.
