Don't bully yourself..and don't you dare quit

We can be prone to this. I can personally attest to that. Sometimes, I catch myself bullying myself.. in my mind. I can agree to the enemy's lies and say to myself "yeah, you are worthless, yeah there's no hope for you.." or I can stand on the Rock of truth and Life and fight back. That's where the battle begins- in the mind.

You can replay a horrible incident that happened today or yesterday..or years ago in your mind and feel the same old feelings of how you felt as if that incident happened right at this very moment. We tend to unintentionally relive those experiences of our past hurts and what's been said and done to us. And then the door for the enemy slowly inches its way open more and more as you dwell on those thoughts and live in that negativity of the emotions it conjures up, and the enemy takes that perfect opportunity to get past your defences [being alert, remembering who you are in Christ, having faith in God's word instead of having faith in the enemy's lies] in order to attack you.
How does the enemy like to attack us? Well first..it starts in our thoughts. Once we dwell on negative situations/circumstances..past hurts, etc.. the enemy condemns you [especially if you've sinned/kept repeating the same old sin], lies to you in order to get you believing that God hates you, is far from you, no longer loves you, can no longer forgive you, that Jesus' blood isn't strong enough to cover ALL your sins, that you will never have hope, that you'll never be healed, that you'll never get a job, that you'll never find love, that you'll never have purpose, that you'll never do this or that..and it's like.. we eat that stuff up like it's all the food that we're given. Don't let the enemy have access to you like that- to a child of the Most High.

But we have another food given to us..and that's the Bread of Life. That's Jesus Christ. We have living water and that's the Holy Spirit- our Comforter and Helper. Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world. FIGHT BACK! Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and wickedness is high places. YES, you may be wounded, YES you may be weak, YES you may feel worn and tired, YES you may be down..but you're not out. You need to grit your spiritual teeth and grab hold onto the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. And don't forget to take your shield of faith so that you can extinguish ALL the fiery darts of the wicked one. If I had complete faith in my God [the Creator of the universe and everything therein, by the way], no circumstance.. no words of hatred hurled my way, no past, no sins can even shake me or my foundation which is rooted in God's truths and promises. Do not be deceived brothers and sisters. God is for you; not against you. Don't quit. Don't surrender to the darkness or the enemy's lies. DO NOT surrender God's truths of you or of His character to the enemy's lies and condemnation. ARMOUR UP, soldiers! This is a spiritual battle we're up against. And this can only be won with Jesus Christ. You hold the battle field until God comes and takes over. You stand your ground and REFUSE to surrender your faith in God. God doesn't want you to be discouraged. God doesn't want you to give up. God even goes so far as to COMMAND IT!
"Have I not commanded you? BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS [in the Lord]! Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

I know I may sound like a broken record to some of you by now [since most of my blog entries are about persevering and not giving up], but today..I came across someone who wants to commit suicide. I pray that you will lift him up in your prayers. Lord, please lift up any depression amongst those who are going through this. Please lift up and heal every single hurt they have in their hearts from their past. Whether self-inflicted or by others. Please wrap your loving arms around them in comfort and protection. Please bind the enemy, Holy Father, and protect them from the enemy's lies and attacks. Give them strength and renew their minds and perspective so that they can focus solely on You, Lord. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask these things..Amen. ♥

This video below will also solidify what I've just typed out. It has a beautiful message at the end of it. Please have a look if you're struggling and want some encouragement.

God bless.

Love you all in Christ.
