  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

According to Matthew 16:17 the truth, from the Father and not from man, is the rock His church is built upon. People united in His truth and no one else's. Focus on Jesus and the Kingdom, not the kingdoms of man. Focus on the governance of the Father, not the governance of man. Both lead in opposite directions.

Jesus said not to rebel against, but to let the world do it's own thing while those of the Kingdom does theirs. The two are opposite in nature. There will always be oppressors and the oppressed. He will sort them out later.

Now... it seems that if Christians can't even agree over wars, abortion, definition of greed, good, evil and the like, then it is little wonder they can't even agree on putting the will of the Father first and loving all as self as Jesus commanded.

Christianity has clearly been infiltrated by the world, while those of the Kingdom have left the world to it's own devices without and within. As a result, the Gospel of the Kingdom has become a mere shadow of what it was once meant to be.

Confused who in Christianity is of the world and of the Kingdom. Jesus said watch the fruits. Focused on Jesus and the Kingdom, not the kingdoms of man. Focused on the governance of the Father, not the governance of man.
