Consulting With God Before Taking A Step

"Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God." (Luke 6:12 NKJV)

Our Master, Lord Jesus while on earth, was a man of prayer. In the text above, He was about to select the twelve apostles. He communed with God about the decision all night. He never took anything for granted. How has your decision-making been? Do you constantly engage God before taking a step, either in little or important matters?
Decision-making without clearance from God has led you into many errors. But rather that retracing your steps and returning to God, you resorted into blaming others. As you are hearing God this day do not harden your heart. The challenge is not that you have made mistake, the real challenge is that you have refused to return to God and plead for mercy. Reconcile with God today and experience peace that passeth all understanding.
It is important to also note that Jesus was praying to God. His prayer was directed to a personality. He later taught us to pray to Him, who is in heaven. He can only become your father by redemption. I plead with you to turn away from your wicked way and return to God. He has been waiting for you all along.

ACTION PLAN: Consider all the decisions you have ever made, how many of them have God's approval? Repent today and plead for mercy.

PRAYER: Lord, I am sorry for all the decisions I ever made without consulting you. Please forgive me, help me from now onward to always discuss everything with you before taking a step.

Agreed.
Was listening to gbile's study, when they talked about Moses 'communing' with God, yet Aaron didn't.
My pastor used to say 'if you want to know God's will, read His Word'...I liked that
and Thanks for your reminder.
