Good success and true prosperity is possessing God (Genesis 39:2). Though he was a slave, Joseph prospered in Potiphar's house because the Lord was with him. He possessed God and did well in every other endeavours.
I will be unable to cultivate God's presence if I cleverly hide my sins. God is not embarrassed by my sins, I only need to confess them to Him and turn away from them. God will then demonstrate His abundance mercy unto me.
I must therefore rely on His mercy. Be gracious unto me, oh Lord. The Lord sits in heaven and does whatever that pleases Him. I want Him to do what pleases Him over my life and cause me to be an exhibit of His mercy and lovingkindness.
ACTION PLAN: I must stop struggling with sins, I need to confess them to God and turn a new leaf with the help of His Spirit.
PRAYER: 1. I acknowledge my sins before God. Against him have I sinned and done this evil
2. Purge with Jesus' blood and I shall be clean (Psalms 51:3-4, 7)
3. Make me a permanent candidate of Your mercy, oh Lord.
