Google had a doodle today drawn by a 15 year old girl showcasing a group of kids all standing shoulder to shoulder with their arms around one another. They each had a shirt representing a religion or idealogy, with Christianity being one of them. The picture is supposed to be about world peace. This is in stark contrast to the words of Jesus Christ:
Matthew 10:33-35
But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘A man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Jesus didn't come to bring peace on Earth, but division. He is making everyone choose a side. There can't be peaceful co-existence between Christianity and the other religions of the world, because the bible says they are wrong. There can't be peaceful co-existence between Christianity and those living a wicked lifestyle, because the bible says it is wrong to live that way.
You have to decide whether you are on the side of Jesus Christ, the side of truth and righteousness, or if you are on the devils side, the side of wickedness and perversion. There is no fence, you are either on one side or the other. This is a very politically incorrect message for such a politically correct doodle. However, we have to speak the truth in love. We love those who are lost but we don't agree with what they are doing. How could we sit and watch someone destroy their life and throw away eternal life and do nothing? That wouldn't be very loving.
God give us the wisdom to know when to speak and when to be quiet. Shine your light through us so that people can see Jesus Christ and come to know Him as Lord and Savior. Protect us from being dragged into the culture wars and help us and strengthen us to fight the spiritual battle.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
