I have concluded that spring is my favorite time of year.
By the end of winter everything is brown and looks dead.
There is no colors anywhere. Then all of a sudden there are little spurts of color that start popping up.
I think the first bursts of color that I noticed were little sections of green grass. Then I noticed the prairie grass has gone from blah yellow looking straw to a golden color
Now the Bradford Pear Trees are blooming
And other trees and flowers are popping up.
They are beautiful.
Just as in nature I believe there are seasons in our life. Winter does not really bring death, else there would be no color ever to return. Therefore, the winters of our life should not discourage us...we can trust that God is still alive within us and any day now those colors will start blooming again.
We must never give up. Hold on with all we have and it is inevitable that color will return.
