In spoilers.
Don't get me wrong..I'm already confident in who I am. But I'm not saying that in relation to outward beauty. There's no specific criteria for beauty-physical or not.
I just feel like..February is the most gloomiest time of all for most people because of the upcoming V-Day. There's so many things that make up beauty in my opinion. It's how you overcome your struggles through Christ. It's how you carry yourself in the face of opposition whether it be from a physical person or spiritual oppression. It's the way you smile despite the hurt you feel inside and all the crazy stuff you may be going through or have gone through.
Beauty is not skin-deep. It goes much deeper than that. Please don't feel like you're not attractive or anything or that you wouldn't ever be with someone. I know it can be hard to wait for that right person. Don't let a commercialised holiday and month dictate your happiness and how you should feel. Don't let it bring you down.
The best way to cheer yourself up is to give love back to others. Those who are less fortunate or maybe have been feeling alone in a nursing home or maybe just your family- your parents, your siblings..whoever. It doesn't have to be a romantic holiday. And really..why do most put the most effort in showing their love and appreciation on this one day to someone they care about? It should be everyday..randomly and on purpose..not as an obligation to a number of a month.
So..am I attractive you say?
Yes, yes you are. But you didn't need me to validate that, did you?
You are. Fearfully..and Wonderfully..Made. And whatever your relationship status might be..that doesn't change a single thing.
