"I said, “O my God, Do not take me away in the midst of my days; Your years are throughout all generations." (Psalms 102:24 NKJV)
This is my prayer this morning that the Lord preserve us and grant us long life. The purpose of the long life is to actualize His plans for our lives. Many are cut off in the prime of their years thereby making it impossible for them to fulfill God's purpose.
What can make God to take someone away in the midst of their days? The length and the breath of our lives are written in His books. He knows us beyond today, and if there is something that will prevent a saint from entering heaven, God in mercy will take him or her away before that day.
ACTION PLAN: Let us commit our past, present and future into God's hands.
PRAYER: Father, uproot from my life everything that will cut short my days.
