New one on me. Always tasted like whiskey and I've always seen it in the whiskey section of ABC stores but whatever!

WineHow can any upstanding Catholic forum not have a thread on this
For those who like either, what are you prefs? I'm all over the map.....
And while not a snob for either (ugh that pretentiousness makes me ill), I don't drink utter swill either.
Wine I like all kinds, but tend to go reds in winter, whites in summer.
Beer similar...darker, heavier stuff in winter, lighter in the summer.
You?
Bravo!A good friend of mine, Fr. Larry Beane, a Lutheran Pastor, US military reserve Chaplain from Gretna Louisiana, is also a Civil War re-enactor and certainly does not espouse the evil that some associate with that flag. For people who are from the south, it is a part of their history. That others have chosen it as a symbol of there evil does not make it intrinsically evil (remember all of those Christmas and Easter are Pagan threads?).
Here's Larry in his roll as confederate chaplain; I think that's a confederate flag on his pulpit:
Here is Larry at his day job:

The KKK has always used the American flag far more than the Rebel flag. How can one participate in this thread when it under a red confederate flag which became the symbol the KKK during the civil rights movement?
