This is an easy problem to solve. If a neighborhood is predominantly black the police force patrolling it should also be. Police Deptartments should also have all-black police task forces that can be used in sensitive situations. Easy solution.

Media sensationalism is really fascinating.

Just years ago, all priests were pedophiles. Every allegation from 1950 to 2000 was given media attention. It'll be interesting to see what the next obsession will be about. Priests were all pedophiles, now cops are all racists.

Common tactic to evade the issue.

I never thought or know of anyone who thought all persists were pedophiles. That's an out there thing to conclude as well as claim happened as a general rule. Most people are intelligent enough to see through media hype, and it is not a good excuse..

The facts are simple, a camera in the hands of most people now days is exposing truths that have been around for some time.

The situation of racist police isn't really about the race of the police officers. That is to say, police officers of any race can be "racist" against black civilians--that is to say, specifically prejudiced to believe that any given black person is likely to be a criminal. The only police officers who have ever disrespected me have been black.

Hope this isn't off topic but this reminded me of a situation back in the early 90s. There had been (supposedly) a string of robberies along a strip of highway north of the city where there were numerous shops, gas stations, all kind of businesses.
Everyone was saying 2 black men were doing it, even the witnesses.
Then it came out that 2 white men were actually asking store employees to let them rob them, take a small part of the cut and tell the cops that 2 black men robbed them.
