Bible verses are what they are....they were not just for your benefit. They speak more profoundly than i ever could. They are inspired of God and are discerner of the heart. Like this one:

Which is rather the point... it looks familiar because people have been declaring it the end times and quoting the same exact pieces of scripture to support their contention for the last 1800 odd years.

And they've been wrong continuously for the past 1800 odd years too, which is quite a consistent track record.

I believe that one day the world will end, and Christ will come in triumph. How much that explicitly follows the popular understanding of Revelation which, even you must admit, is highly abstract, I don't care to guess, but one thing I DO know for sure, one of the clearest passages in the Bible, is Mathew 25:13 "no man knows the day nor the hour". That means that, well, NO ONE KNOWS when the end times are coming. When they get here, really actually get here, my guess is things will be obvioius. But claiming "ZOMG! things are so bad, it must be the end times" because people disagree with you on the internet is NOT it.

I would contend that the darkest period in human history was the period of 1930-50, when we had a world war, and various dictators slaughtering millions of their own people. And THAT didn't usher in the end times... so, if all of THAT wasn't a sign of the end times being upon us, a black man being elected president and a few murals in an airport sure as heck ain't.

Get back to me when things are as bleak as they were in 1945 for the bulk of the world's population, THEN I might buy into some end times hysteria. Airport murals and government funded healthcare won't do it.
