Is this Truth?

Matt 24: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken


What is happening "immediately after the tribulation" is cut short for the sake of the elect at the moment when the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall?

Joel 2

1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Based on the above prophetic scriptures, why is the tribulation cut short or else no one would survive?

What boggles my mind is why this is so difficult to grasp.

I pray that God will open eyes to this Truth found in His Word which is about to come to pass.

The world did not know. But Noah knew because the door on the Ark was closed. The Church age is two days, on the third day the Church will be perfected. ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.'

So basically, you just repeated everything I said. We do not know, not angels, demons, or Jesus himself when the rapture is going to take place because only God the Father knows.

‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

With this verse, each time Jesus spoke about something happening on the 3rd day it was relating to his death, burial, resurrection. "the third day, I shall be perfected" (Christ was risen from the 3rd day, conquering death, hell, and the grave)

Honestly, I think it's dangerous to predict when the 2nd coming of Christ is. I mean, we're obvious as of this moment unless your across the international timeline it's Saturday April 2, 2011. Well, if I was a babe in Christ or a non-believer, I may believe this but also say, ok so why a 4 yr gap? Well, what exactly is going to happen? We don't know God's throught process as far as how he handles everything. But, to try to say this or that is going to happen between this and that date is, well it doesn't make sense with all due respect.

Just like this, we will all be eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, working, partying, playing games, praying, travelling etc. We too will not know until Jesus does come, comes when we least expect it. But we are given signs of what will happen when he does.

It is fascinating to me that the wheel within wheel orb that came down from heaven on January 28, 2011 and hovered over the Temple Mount is exactly 1335 days from the Feast of Trumpets in 2014.

Ezekiel 1 describes a similar "orb" as being one of the four living creatures, complete with lightning-like flash before it ascended.

If this is the 1335 days from Daniel 12 where Michael stands up, war in heaven that kicks down the devil to the earth, then the antichrist's 42 month reign will begin on April 13, 2011.

If not, oh well. We keep going.

I'm just wondering if you know of video evidence of this orb and if so if there is a web site. I don't recall anything about that mentioned as a sign in the Bible, though there is plenty of other evidence in my opinion that we are in the last days

Yes, there is plenty of other evidence that we are in the last days.

Notice the title of this thread is asking a question. I just happened to notice that the orb appeared over the Temple Mount, which is the center of all end times action, exactly 1335 days before the Feast of Trumpets in 2014. We will know by the 14th if it was a kind of sign because the antichrist gets 1260 of the 1335 days.

This means that there has to be a massive invasion of Israel, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and of course, the split-second rapture of the church prior to the 14th.

Paul said that they will be saying "peace and security" when that Day begins. IS THIS IT? I don't know. The church is removed as the invaders invade. So maybe this is it, maybe not. Based on Zechariah 12, it doesn't look like God is going to let them divide Jerusalem.

Beyond that, when you look around, there are no God-fearing people in positions of power. Everywhere you look are secularists, liberal extremists, islamic radicals, communists, socialists and they all have one mind/agreement where Israel is concerned. Israel doesn't stand a chance when the whole world is against it and is stepping in to divide their land and Jerusalem.

It's a rock and a hard place for them.

Add to that the eschatology of the Iranian leadership who believes that they are supposed to conquer Jerusalem for their Mahdi by August.

There is no way out of this mess. God has to step in.

Iran believes it has to be done by August in order for their Mahdi to show up.

To all those who will be left behind who come to this forum for answers, take heart but do not take the mark.

Jesus said in John 3 that only those who are born of the Spirit enter the Kingdom of God when He comes. Those who are not born of the Spirit will be left out and will have to choose with their life. Do not take the mark. Think of whom you want to serve for eternity, not trying to save your life in the here and now.
