Specifically, 265 in Southern California and a vast majority of them, 215, in Los Angeles County alone.

The numbers come from state records that show votes were cast in that person’s name after they died. In some cases, Goldstein discovered that they voted year after year.

Across all counties, Goldstein uncovered 32 dead voters who cast ballots in eight elections apiece, including a woman who died in 1988. Records show she somehow voted in 2014, 26 years after she passed away.

It remains unclear how the dead voters voted but 86 were registered Republicans, 146 were Democrats, including Cenkner.

“The problem is California has been the most derelict state in the country in implementing statewide databases that are required under federal law. They just blew it off for over a decade,” said Adams.

And in that decade and more, CBS2 found hundreds of votes on the state’s own database cast for people who have died, like Cenkner.

What's incredible is how disingenuous you can be after this has been explained to you multiple times.

From your own article:

And then there’s Julita Abutin.

Records show she voted in Norwalk in 2014, 2012, 2010 and 2008 though she died in 2006.

Abutin’s daughter, Marivic, says it’s impossible that her mother voted.

But the Los Angeles County Registrar confirms they have signed vote-by-mail envelopes with her mother’s name for the 2014 and 2012 election, though she died 10 years ago.

Vote-by-mail fraud: not protected against by voter ID laws.

It’s possible as a junior, election officials mistakenly attributed the vote to his father. There is no way to tell from CBS2’s data but he wonders why his dad is still registered.

Clerical errors: not protected against by voter ID laws.

Are there things that need to be cleaned up? Sure. But nothing you've presented proves in-person voter fraud of the kind that would be prevented by voter id laws.

Yes, voter fraud never happens. Let's set aside that crock of tar for a minute and consider the same malarkey promoters for that one are those who also argue that Voter ID laws are bias.

The Constitution guarantees citizens the right to vote. Unless of course certain circumstances preclude this.
In a nation fast being invaded by unlawful entrants how does someone guarantee it is a citizen at the voting place other than to insure they have applied for government issued identification.

Those who are opposed to Voter ID cards are the same one's that are all for unlawful entry into America and those perpetrators being given every available reward.
Their either trolls or treasonous idiots. Either one is easily dismissed.

No I did not. However, we do need some system to prevent those that illegally vote whether they be non-citizens or "dead". Anymore, I don't trust the integrity of our elections.

No, she referenced the "voter fraud that never happens." The "vote fraud that never happens" is the in-person voter fraud that's allegedly stopped by voter id laws.

And yet she never said nor implied anything of the sort. Didn't stop you from trying to slander her however.

265 cases of fraud across many millions of voters. And this is a problem how?

When you enact laws that discourage tens of thousands of legal voters from actually voting, how does that make up for the 265 cases of fraud?

We all know what is going on. Conservatives have pushed through laws that disproportionately burden the poor and minorities because these demographics don't vote for conservatives like other demographics do. It has nothing to do with fraud.

ah yes but in some minds, so what if you disenfranchise 100 people if it means you catch that one fraudster. imagine if you introduce the same principle to justice.

You mean, "So what if you disenfranchise 100 voters, as long as the majority of them were going to vote for a Democrat".

indeed:) it is something that seems to be prevalent in republican leaning states, though there will be democrats doing the same thing.

That was 265 KNOWN cases. We also have precincts in which 100% of the voters voted for the same candidate during the 2012 presidential election. Very unlikely, since that means not a single person even made a mistake in marking his ballot.

It would be relatively easy for more non-citizens to fool the precinct workers in most states if they tried.

You implied it when you brought up the "vote fraud that never happens".

Didn't stop you from trying to slander her however.

You're either disingenuous or you still fail to grasp a basic facet of this issue, despite having had it explained to you on numerous occasions. Which is it?

You need to prove who you are to get into a political rally, you should need a photo ID to vote. If you can't get a free ID in the 4 years between elections, I don't think I want you selecting our leaders.

You don't want veterans voting? Because some of them found out their military IDs weren't considered valid in Wisconsin.

The solution to that is easy. Get rid of the corrupt crooks in Wisconsin and replace them with someone smarter than your average elm tree. Laws that discourage veterans from voting are predominantly written by liberals who are afraid they might vote Republican.
