Why are there so many thread about this? Who cares??

Perhaps a mod could start a sticky so that all the posters on this subject could be kept under one thread.

oh, yeah...they tried that with the Hurricane and yet we STILL have people posting new threads on this thing.

People just flat out don't read.

Colossians 3:23-25 23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Anyone that hurls the race card around is a racist.
He is using the issue to prejudge another race of peoples actions.

I don't see black people suffering, I see Humans, Americans, fellow christians and other
titles of God's creation in need.

How about we wait and let the investigation decide who was wrong.
Why do some in America want instant gratification for blame?
The blame game is not helping those suffering.
Once we have cleaned up and helped those in need then we can shift our concentration back to finger pointing.

We all know that:
Bush knew about Katrina's devestation prior to it hitting N.O.
Bush knew that N.O. was going to flood and thousands would be killed
Bush caused all the natural disasters and pretty much any loss of life in the counrty
and abroad since just prior to his appointment to president.(conspiracy theory number199999)
Bush is the Anti-Christ.(conspiracy #666)

Fema knew about the problems last year, but it's not up to the Federal goverent to fix local problems. They can request Federal assistance but the Levies problems have been a problem for over 5 years. So the Federal goverment should force the local goverment to fix a problem that they have ignored?

While I can find fault with Brownie and his appointment, I think Fema might just be vindicated in the end. I hear that supplies were stopped from reaching the superdome
by local officials, until after the flood. By then they didn't have the capabilities to get the food there.

So lets just wait until a complete investigation is done.

Although, I have not started any hurricane post since they posted that. (most of the time the post is already started.)

What is the race card? It seems whenever a person of color raises the issue of race people scream race card as if it is utterly impossible for racism to be an issue.

I don't agree with what Kenye West said for two reasons, it was not the time or place and I am not so sure that there is even any truth in it but that is beside the point.

It's getting quite (ahem) colorful in here.... and I DON'T mean that as a race issue!:)

ROTFL ^_^

Sometimes I wish we all could walk a mile in one another's shoes in a Freaky Friday sort of way. :( Either that or date someone of another race and then you can REALLY see what racism is!
