Do you have a favorite Apostle. One that you tend to have a bond with or admire or can relate to more than the others?
John is my favorite as well. There's something about his writing and his character. Very sweet and loving, I guess. I don't know how else to describe it. lol Just have a fondness for him.My mother named me after John the Apostle.
Also, the Apostle John was who he was...what can I say here.
His Gospel is my favorite for many many reasons, and Jesus chose him to keep after His mother.
My middle name is David, as in the King.

O Apostle John, speaker of Deity,
The beloved of Christ our God,
Hasten to deliver your people,
powerless in speech,
For He on whose bosom you lean
Accepts you as an intercessor.
Beseech Him, therefore,
To disperse the darkness of ignorance,
and pray for peace,
And great mercies to be shown upon us.
What a beautiful prayer, OUSA. I am going to save that. Thanks for sharing!O Apostle John, speaker of Deity,
The beloved of Christ our God,
Hasten to deliver your people,
powerless in speech,
For He on whose bosom you lean
Accepts you as an intercessor.
Beseech Him, therefore,

And great mercies to be shown upon us.
Forgive me...
