Man in translating God’s written has watered it down some,

Which is it?

The written word is a poor communication tool, especially when used by me.


The Christian Bible is God’s written Word. But not all translations of the Bible are accurate. But the Holy Spirit will always give one the true understanding of the written Word of God.


History writers in my opinion can’t be trusted at all.

I believe people will believe whatever they want to believe.


Besides I truly don’t have any interest in if people believe me or not.


If I am right, and a person is of God then God will convince him or her.


I believe my job is just to give a word, and it is not to convince anyone. And that is good, because it is doubtful that I have convinced anyone in all the years of giving the word that I believe God has had me give.


My wife said it many times, that God has me give the word I give to people so they can’t say on the last day that they never heard the truth.

Look at the reality of how scripture was handled. Not feelings, but facts.

Do some research. You will be surprised how accurate it is.

But if either of you have such contempt for it, please don't use it to prove a point.

Because you don't believe it is accurate, how can it be a test to prove your point as accurate. Doesn't make logical sense does it?

You seem to be making a straw man argument saying I believe it is in accurate.

I never said that. I said some English translations have watered down some of the bible versions.

Some versions do not just water down but change the word so much that is says women have a right to be pastors of a Christian Church.

The Word of God is not inaccurate, but some people’s translations are very inaccurate.

I believe the King James Version to be an inaccurate version.

But it is by far better than some of the newer versions.

Did the Apostles know Jesus. Certainly yes
Did the Apostles hear His voice? Certainly yes

What did they commend the Bereans for ?

What did they commend the Bereans for ?

Studding the bible. Yes one needed to study the written Word of God, because they had not yet been given the Holy Spirit.


Also it was needed to understand the writings of the prophets to know that Jesus was God made man.


One can never come to know God by reading the bible.

No that was a downright nasty dishonest question. There was never any question of my belief in the bible being the true Word of God. Also I have never contradicted God’s written Word. Your question implies that I have and that is dishonest.
