Like I've said before, I've never read HP but I don't have a problem with people who do read it.

I read fantasy books and I watch anime(which got bashed during the Pokemon era. :p)

Anyway, if a child is confusing fantasy with reality, then that problem can extend to any area of sub culture, not just HP. It's up to the parent to ensure that the child does not confuse fantasy with reality.

Also, I never said that fiction wasn't dangerous. Like others have said, that is a straw man argument.

However, I have no problem with a book that questions your beliefs(I don't think HP does that though.) How will our beliefs grow and become stronger if they are never questioned?
