I am of the mind-set that anyone can question evolutionary theory for any reason, and should be able to do so without having to suffer charges or being this, that, or the other equally vile thing.

I concur. However, the problem is the fact that for so long you have creationists launching baseless attacks against science solely on the grounds it violates their precious religious beliefs. Hence, the "evolutionist" side has become a bit defensive about the whole thing.

Other disciplines face the same thing (particularly physics), but the issues tend to be less politicized.

I did however take the time to google a number of the names and the ones I googled all came up Christians,

He got it from a Creationist boilerplate list. I don't recognize all the names, but the ones I do are all Creationists or affiliated with Creationist organizations.

Steve Austin - ICR
Don Batten - IIRC the MIOS in D-FW
John Baumgardener - AiG
Michael Behe - DI
Walt Brown - has his own group I think
Bill Dembski - DI
Duane Gish - ICR
Guillermo Gonzales - Cause Celebre ;)
Russell Humphreys - ICR or AiG.
etc. etc.

The fun thing is the majority of the list are people who have degrees in something other than biology.

When you want to know about evolution you can go to the guy with the degree in gas kinetics. I'll go with the biologist.

Interesting, so these are people you know? Where did you meet them?

Some other evolutionist asked for YEC's who had PhD, then i listed them, but they are not good enough?

You atheists/evolutionists can never accept when you are wrong can you. Such ignorance.

And i listed numerous YEC's with PhD biology.

These are authors of creationist articles. I;ve encountered most of their work before, since i've been reading their scientific contributions for several years now.

Yes do tell us since your links lead to nowhere?
Asycthian is being dishonest now!

Someone asked for YEC's who hold PhD qualifcations. I provided a list of many.

Looks like i've proved you atheists/evolutionists wrong, knowing this, all you can resort to is personal attacks.

You guys get boring, since you repeat this, when you lose in every debate.

But only about one and a half percent of the sientific community believes yec, and those few are pariahs and noncredible aources of information within the scientific community. I'll stick with what the 98.5% of the scientific community believes, which is evolution is real, and the earth is billions, not thousands of years old.

It is intellectually dishonest to try and teach yec or creationism as fact bc there is no cohesive credible information or evidence to support yec, as all support is usually invalidated by the process of the scientific method.

Well since your links lead to nowhere then I may as well give you a list of names thousands of pages long!

Stop making things up!

Either give us evidence or stop calling us ignorant! The Bible does not constitute as evidence and neither does here say!

Empirical evidence please:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

Ascythian can you link to some published works of those people? I somehow doubt we'll be seeing many credited reports but I'm intrigued to see what kind of investigations they've done and how they've gone about interpreting what they've collected.

These people may exist but it's what they've contributed to the scientific community which should be focused on in this debate.

Creationists, yes. YECs, no. At least some of the people on that list accept an old earth.

And what exactly have evolutionists ever contributed to anything?

All the theory of evolution has done is promote poor morality, promoted abortion, homosexuality (and other bad acts) and gave rise to bad ideologies such as Liberalism, Socialism, Communism and Nazism.
