Well, it would be kind of hard to be from this generation and be married for 72 years.

Sorry to hear that. I've always liked her. She was on the Marty Stuart Show a few weeks ago and didn't look very good.

I miss country music and every time one of the greats dies, country music just disapears a little further into the rearview mirror.

"Will Your Lawyer Talk to God For You" is still one of my favorites.

She was huge back in the late 50's and early 60's....back when country music was still country music, before it all became micromanaged by big business.

I was actually surprised to hear that she was still around.....most of the stars of her era died years ago.
