Videos here are for those that can't use their words.
That's just silly. Most people do both. Other use them as a springboard for discussion. And you have an animated gif in your profile which is a video itself. It makes a statement but you're using no words so we have to come to our own meaning. It seems you've violated your own rule then.

Something that explains your complaint would be helpful.
I have to run for now but if someone doesn't beat me to it Ill see what I can find. Most links I've found only have the full transcript but I have a plan that may work. We'll see.

I get the hint on not having sound - that's fine, but most videos have closed captioning and you can read along with it. Beyond that I think the point has been proven,

EDIT: - Yes the closed captioning does work on the video - there you go -

Some people are still on dial up or have a very slow DSL connection, like mine. Sometimes I cannot watch videos on news sites because of that. One of the things one gives up when living a rural life.

Never even thought of that - thanks

Its pretty bad. No punctuation, or any indication who's speaking.

Surely in the same amount of time you could have explained your concern in written form.

Animation in a signature is an entirely different matter than using a video in a post. I never use animation or video in lieu of a serious post. Had you given a lead-in and the video was an adjunct, I'd be OK. But too much of the time posters want to short-cut by using a video. Or, they really don't understand the issue well enough to speak to it.

Often it's helpful to others to post a video and they can choose to view or not view. But I tend to agree that it's best to include some main points. I'm probably guilty of that too. I'm pretty sure I am.

Do you remember 2012 right around this time?

There are several plausible scenarios that would give Barack Obama and Mitt Romney 269 electoral votes each—both one short of the victorious 270.
How many electoral votes did Obama end with? 330 - not even close to the predictors.

and that is from the electoral college site. How much less accurate is the media? You know the ones who said Trump was a joke and will not survive past the top 15.
They said there were several plausible scenarios not the final prediction.

At a recent rally the crowd voiced their opinion:

Chanting "Do your job" and "Tell the truth"

A big part of the problem here is that these people watch FOX News, and FOX NEWS just invents conspiracy theories whole cloth. When the rest of the media refuses to do the same, and depend on facts, reputable sources, and stuff like that, the Trump base gets upset.

Yes, I believe the media sincerely believed that there were very few racists in America. But by using blatant racism, such as saying Mexicans are rapists and Murders, all Muslims should be banned, we should put Muslims on a registry (and wear a yellow crescent moon?), and on and on, Trump was able to win the Primaries, it really surprised the media. That's also one of the reasons so many top republicans refuse to support him.

I sincerely believed this was common knowledge. But apparently not to you, so here you go: no evidence, no proof, just speculation and conspiracy:

Or remember when FOX NEWS was trying to convince people that Obama's trip to India was costing 200 million/day? That was hilarious.

Those are two examples, if you want more I suggest going to youtube, and searching "Jon Stewart FOX NEWS", you won't be able to stop laughing. :)

I don't need to watch a video of an opinion show. You said Fox News "invents" conspiracies out of whole cloth. You need to defend that with your own words and detail the invention, who started the conspiracy, who is involved in the conspiracy, etc.

Maybe you should start with your personal definition of what constitutes a conspiracy because I have a feeling it's not the dictionary definition.

I did, I gave you two examples. The 200 million/day expenses for Obama's India trip, and this latest Hillary is sick conspiracy theory. No evidence for either, just crazy speculation.

I use the dictionary definition. :)
