is not a direct quote from Stormy, unless she's the one person out of 8 billion people on earth who refers to herself in the second person.
Pommer misses Bob Dole too.

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Minnesota next week for a state GOP fundraiser.

Trump will be the keynote speaker at the Minnesota GOP's annual Lincoln Reagan dinner on Friday, May 17, Chairman David Hann wrote in a press release on Monday.

I was told this was from 6-9 and that Barron's graduation is at 7 pm, but I haven't been able to confirm the times.

Are there or could there be any repercussions if Trump doesn't show up to Barron's graduation if the court specifically took the day off to honor that request? The Judge granted it, but if he finds out he campaigned and was physically at the speech location at the same time as the graduation what happens? Just a bad look for the jury? Contempt of court? Stern warning?

I saw reporting the graduation is at 10 am so he has time to make both.

Both sides, Trump and Stormy Daniels, deny having sex.
Now we have Stormy Daniels, under oath, asserting she had sex with Donald Trump.

I think most lawyers suggest that defendants should rarely take the stand in their own defense. So despite Trump's early bluster that he would "absolutely" do so, I don't expect him to, since he's backed far far away from that "absolutely".

But Trump's not just any defendant. Will he take the stand to defend his honor under oath?

The bookkeeping entry that Trump is being charged for has nothing to do with whether Trump had sex with the woman or not. Improperly allowing such testimony means the case will eventually be tossed. But a number of Democrats who have such fear of Trump are willing to violate Trump's rights and the rights of the citizenry to participate in a fair and democratic election. All in order to get Trump. This has happened elsewhere in recent times, going after a political opponent to such a degree, in Pakistan and Russia. Those Americans involved need to be brought to justice, we cannot set such a precedent in this country. I hope the country will come together after the election and hold the judge and prosecutors accountable.

I saw, but that literally doesn't answer my question at all. What if he misses the very thing he asked for from the judge?

That’s a Trump tweet by proxy if I ever saw one. It’s even in all caps. A not-so creative way of getting around the gag order.

The irony of Levin crying over the loss of civic and political norms while defending a guy who decided to attack at the heart of our democracy when an election didn’t go his way.

Twitter never should have increased the character limit. These folk are writing blog posts.

Sorry, I don't know. I was just updating info about my previous post. I'd hope he wouldn't be that foolish.

From Stormy Daniels

She said while speaking with Donald Trump, he never offered her a penny and never told her to keep silent. That would mean that he never tried to hide the story for political purposes.

She also said Cohen worked out the payment agreement with her. Once again, this puts Cohen on the hook, not Trump. He made every agreement and Trump was at no point involved.

If he didn't have her sign a NDA for an incident that allegedly took place in 2006 until 10 yrs later, it supports the theory it was related to the election.

Nope - no one has ever said that.

He considered himself Trumps 'fixer' - he got paid back, so it was definitely not out of the goodness of his heart, but to endear himself

No - Trump paid an invoice from his attorney. That's business not the goodness of his heart

His Accountants have already testified that they are the ones who classified the invoices from his attorney as legal fees (kinda makes sense when you take the bias out of it,)

Trump was owner/Managing partner for 350 corporation in the US and abroad - I find it incredulous that anyone on earth would think he did his own accounting. Talk about a stretch.

Cohen didn't simply issue an invoice and demand payment. He conspired with Weisselberg and Trump to disguise the purpose of the payment and Weisselberg wrote it down.

This tweet is to show the document. The next tweet he clarifies Cohen never saw Weisselberg's handwritten notes. There was writing on the back as well I believe but I don't feel like searching for that.

You cannot say the issues are TOTALLY Unrelated.
An affair is a possible motivation for an bookkeeping entry and is the "context" of the bookkeeping entry.

Personally when I look at the big picture I don't think Trump is being treated fairly because I am fairly sure plenty of other politicians have paid people to keep silent until after an election and actually going into the details of the affair is not useful, However as far as I can tell the judge is mainly just doing his job he cannot take a big picture approach and I don't know how he can handle the fact that Trump blatantly denies the affair

Why do you think the bookkeeper that made the entry would have knowledge of whether Trump had an affair? Stormy denied the affair many many times over the years, it seems clear the non-disclosure would be so she would quit making accusations against Trump.

Did you miss that part where President Donald J Trump himself signed checks that were labeled “legal fees” when they were, in fact, repayments for an illegal campaign contribution?

Probably. But someone opened the closet this time and looked inside. Or possibly, the sheer number of skeletons stuffed inside caused the door to fail. Either way, hard to ignore it when the skeletons are lying around in the open.

If you’re a billionaire running a corporation do you handle the book keeping for every transaction? Doesn’t seem likely.

....in his own words:

On Tuesday, the prosecutors unearthed a series of damaging excerpts from books that the former president wrote, plucking out passages to help make their case against Mr. Trump. In essence, they called a past version of Mr. Trump to testify against his future self.

In his own words, Mr. Trump described how he kept a focus on minute details and watched every penny that left his accounts, corroborating a core component of the prosecution’s case as they argue that he knew that his company falsified business records to cover up a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels, a porn star.

The list of statements came from Trump books including "Trump: The Art of The Deal," his memoir that reached No. 1 on the New York Times best seller list, as well as "Think Like a Billionaire," "How to Get Rich," "Think Big and Kick Ass," and "Great Again."

“Every dollar counts in business, and for that matter, every dime.” The text continued, “Even in high end shops, I bargain,” adding, “I hate paying retail.”

“For many years I’ve said that if someone screws you, screw them back,” she read from a book by Mr. Trump. It continued: “When somebody hurts you, just go after them as viciously and as violently as you can. Like it says in the Bible, an eye for an eye.”

Shocking! Donald knows a Bible verse! (Ok, I expect it was the ghost.)

During the trial yesterday, the judge warned Trump's attorney that Trump's reactions during testimony was contemptuous.

New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan called Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche to a sidebar during a midday break to say that Trump was “cursing audibly” and possibly intimidating Daniels, who had begun testifying, according to a trial transcript.

“I understand that your client is upset at this point,” Merchan said to the defense attorney, according to the transcript, “but he is cursing audibly and he is shaking his head visually and that’s contemptuous. It has the potential to intimidate the witness and the jury can see that.”

Blanche assured the judge he would speak to Trump.

“I am speaking to you here at the bench because I don’t want to embarrass him,” Merchan said. “You need to speak to him. I won’t tolerate that.”

It’s worse. He was asked what his favorite Bible verse was and he said an eye for an eye.
