Been a big time zombie fan for years.
As to which films are my favorites. Well I guess the following are the ones that I go out of my way to watch over and over again;

Night of the Dead(remake)
Return of the Living Dead
White Zombie

Great strategury: Get something hard and bop 'em on the head.

Another great thing: hole up in a Wal-Mart. Not a Target or K-mart, they're not as likely to have firearms, and Target doesn't have as much camping stuff and food as the others. That way, you've got, guns, ammo, food, and stuff you can improvise weapons and armor with (say, taking a power hedge trimmer's blade, go to the hardware section, you'll see the kind I'm talking about, and wrapping cord around the end attachement for a full-metal tang sword!).

Also wear chain mesh. You get a 70% better survival rate for group attacks. Have acid cannons on the roof of the Wal-Mart for large groups. Use bunson burner tubing and funnels for slings shots to launch molotov cocktails for parking lot disposal.

How do you propose we make acid cannons? I don't know that Wal-mart has acid, though. Or bunson burner tubing. But they've got enough thin rope that you could cut a two to three foot length, attach it to the cocktails (where the flame won't burn the rope), and do sort of an old fashion sling (but letting go of the whole thing).

Unfortunately anything with 3 or more barrels is pretty much near a specialty weapon. Not going to find it wal-mart's redneck hunting good department.

I've thought this out.

Mix stuff that contains large amounts of magnesium (powdered), potassium nitrate, sulphur, and charcoal, all in powdered form. About 75% potassium nitrate, 10% sulphur, and 15% charcoal, since magnesium's not super easy to light.

Tada! Gunpowder! Don't get it wet, though.

They are sure to have fire hoses, and fire sprinkler equipment, and pumps.

They do have the cheesy wrist rockets, that have the rubber tubing. Tie some of those together, and pray they don't break. And with all of the lawn and garden chemicals, you could make some kind of corrosive.

The gun powder is a great idea. Also wear 3 inch spike-knuckle gloves for close encounters, in case you lose a weapon.

Or we could all go to K-Mart and give all the zombies deadly flashbacks with the bluelight special floor flashers. BAHAAAHAAAHAAA-RAHaaahaaahaaahaaahaa, sniff, gasp, bahhaahaaahaaaa.

I love zombie movies. Horror movies are my favorite category.

My Favorite Zombie movies are:

The original Night of the Living Dead is the all time best Zombie movie ever.

Then Original Dawn of the Dead

The remake of Dawn of the Dead

Land of the Dead was good but not very scarey.

Resident Evil was great!!!

Does anyone remember what Zombie it was where in the end or something the lead the zombies to an indoor pool? I remember seeing it when I was younger but I cannot remember which one it was.

Only Far Side zombies... other than that, this one doesn't care for walking dead /zombie movies other than the Mummy, and the Mummy II.

Aw. Zombies are one of the classic bad guys for movies. They're the ones that the characters will have large problems dealing with the first one, but after that, there has to be a large group.

The only greater enemy I can think of are Storm troopers, the more of which, the lower the chances of an individual stormtrooper's survival.

Hey folks,

I still think that the original Night of the Living Dead was the best of the best, but I can't ever find anybody to watch it with me. I guess black and white movies just don't do it for the people I hang around. After that...

I loved the Dawn of the Dead remake.
The original DotD was awesome too.
Resident Evil was great.

I'll admit, I have had the survivalist zombie-war fantasies too. What better way to spend your Saturday nights?
