  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yeah, Led Zeppelin is some good stuff.

I have a vinyl bootleg of theirs from a live show in Europe in 1975. The quality isn't great, but when I listen to it I feel like I'm a part of history or something.

Plus, Jimmy Page is a crazy guitarist.

Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time, hands down. I personally like all their solo stuff but find Jones to be the most creative there. Plant is on tour right now and if you get the chance to see him you should he still has a pretty good voice. www.led-zeppelin.com is a great site for info.

i love listening to the sound of John Bonham's drums, it sounds like a high rise tower is being detonated and comes crashing down.

Bonzo!! he is so missed , and yes the many beats he put in the songs while playing is incredible. He was quoted as saying he had a foot like a "rabbit" ^_^ He also had a led foot.

I was just shy of my 7th birthday when they last toured North American in the summer of 1977, so I never saw Page/Plant/Jones/Bonham. I saw Plant in 1988, 1990 (twice), and Page/Plant in 95 and 98.

Comparing what I heard versus listening to bootlegs, Page and Plant played better in 1995 and 1998 than in the late 70s. Getting off of the drugs probably helped.

IMHO, the best solo albums have been from John Paul Jones (Zooma and The Thunderthief).
