[FONT=Times,&quot]Oil-1 cup / 240 ml / 8 fluid ounces / 1/2 pint[/FONT]

[FONT=Times,&quot]Salt –a pinch[/FONT]
[FONT=Times,&quot]Baking Powder - 1 tblspn [/FONT]

[FONT=Times,&quot]Cocoa - 3 tblspn (use good quality)[/FONT]


Baking Pan Size - 9" Round Cake Pan / 23 Cm Round Cake Pan

Directions:

[FONT=Times,&quot]Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C).[/FONT]

[FONT=Times,&quot]Mix together a tsp of cocoa and a tsp of flour together. Prepare a tin by applying Butter on all sides and dusting with flour and cocoa mixture.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times,&quot]In a separate bowl mix together flour and baking powder together. Set this aside.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times,&quot]In a mixing bowl beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla till pale and light. Don't make it fluffy.

[FONT=Times,&quot]Add in milk, salt, oil and mix well. Fold in flour mixture slowly.

[FONT=Times,&quot]Take half of the batter in to another bowl and mix in cocoa, creating two equal amounts of the vanilla and chocolate mix.

[FONT=Times,&quot]Now take the prepared baking tin and pour approx. 2 tblspn of vanilla batter in the center of the pan, next in with approx. 2 tblspns cocoa batter on top of the vanilla batter

and repeat this step till the batter is finished

Bake it in the oven for 45-50 min or until the cake is cooked. To check whether the cake is cooked, insert a toothpick in, if the toothpick comes out clean then the cake is done.[/FONT]
