  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

alright. yugioh is so totally not an offshoot of pokemon. The cards are stressed because of marketing, but in the real storylines, which are masterfully written for a more mature audience (albiet that there isn't any gross sexuality/nudity or anything meant by "mature"), however, Yugioh means king of games, and so all sorts of games are played in the story. Look at the intent behind the use of all that occult stuff- it's to save the world, or someone dear. It's just like Harry Potter using magic to defend his friends. The analogy is that these people are using what is obviously not true in reality in order to save others threatened by the same forces. It's entertainment, not scripture, and should thusly not be taken as "This is what you should believe in!" or "This is what you could do!"

Ummm...I think you taking yu-gi-oh in a totally wrong way, its based on a Manga, and a card game. There is nothing wrong with it, lol!!

Hahaha ha hahaha ha ha, Yu-Ghi-Oh bad ha ha ha ha, is the pope jewish? I'd hate to live where you do if they sacrifice little kids, sounds more like Yu-Diablo, then anything else! (bwuah ha ha ha that was so stupid.)
