i watch the show and play the crd game and i dont think its bad.it also teaches kids about friendship.and if you think about it God=Yami and Satan=bad guys.....and yami always beats the bad guys!

alright. yugioh is so totally not an offshoot of pokemon. The cards are stressed because of marketing, but in the real storylines, which are masterfully written for a more mature audience (albiet that there isn't any gross sexuality/nudity or anything meant by "mature"), however, Yugioh means king of games, and so all sorts of games are played in the story. Look at the intent behind the use of all that occult stuff- it's to save the world, or someone dear. It's just like Harry Potter using magic to defend his friends. The analogy is that these people are using what is obviously not true in reality in order to save others threatened by the same forces. It's entertainment, not scripture, and should thusly not be taken as "This is what you should believe in!" or "This is what you could do!"

I think Yu-ghi-oh is totally wrong, we in holland got a version that's been edited becouse Yu-Ghi-Oh is simply cruel! In the japanese version the sacrifice children, and the call beasts from the ''underworld''. This rage began with pokémon, but it growed to this! I think this is certainly a bad influence! People get known with witches, ''tarot cards'' and other stuff. What do you think about this?

Ummm...I think you taking yu-gi-oh in a totally wrong way, its based on a Manga, and a card game. There is nothing wrong with it, lol!!
