Physical Description: Yreomyr is tall, about six foot, and slender. He is muscular but not overly so. His outward appearance is gruff and grim. He never smiles. His skin is a dark olive, almost brown colour that he gained from his homeland where he spent most of his youth. His hair is a dark black colour. Despite his grimness and overall bad mood he carries with him an air of nobility and the memory of glory long past. His clothing is generally that of the Haradrim, a mix of dark reds and black. He wears all of the body clothing of the Haradrim, including the face cloth and hood. He also wears a light cloak with an extended hood to cover his body and features from view. In northern climes he wears heavier clothing and heavier cloaks, but the basic design scheme is the same.
His most remarkable features are his eyes. They are a pale grey, almost white colour. Yreomyr gained his nickname from staring down friend and foe alike beneath the assault of his gaze. As a character Yreomyr can be described like so, “Tall and grim he stood, a rock of fear and despair. He bore two wickedly curved and jagged scimitars at his waist. Yet his most striking feature was his eyes. Grey like the misty sea they shone from beneath his hood, like memories of a glory and honour long lost. His manner and dress belied a fairness that was kingly.”
General Description: Edited as he was known to the men in the north, Edited to the Haradrim, Tathar Séregon to the elves, and Yreomyr in the middle lands of the south kingdom. He hails from the lands of Umbar on the western shores of Near Harad. He early on entered the service of the Eye and rose quickly through its ranks, becoming one of the Enemy’s most feared weapons. During the War of the Ring he led a doomed company of Haradrim upon the lands of Lebennin. As one of the few that survived, however, he was allowed to remain in his position and quickly proved his worth as a private soldier, running missions for The Eye in the outer-reaches of his ever-growing territory.
His parents were non-descript Haradrim of Umbar. Yreomyr learned his swordplay from his father, a somewhat prominent soldier of his local regiment. Since he left his home he steadily improved it by joining various mercenary and fighting bands and learning the hard way; bloody combat. At the age of 25 there is little that can faze Yreomyr now. He has seen all sorts of combat from cold-blooded murder in his home town of Nundgar to all-out war on the shores of Belfalas. He has traveled to every region of Middle-earth under every possible guise and is credited with the death of many leaders of the Free People’s, including Elrond of Rivendell. He is now one of Annatar’s most useful and trusted servants.
