I still am kind of shy when I don't have kids to hide behind!!!

I'm very shy at first, well kinda...sorta. I think I just don't talk a lot. Seriously!! Stop laughing!!

When I was elementary school I had a crush on my dentist. Granted it could have been the gas, but he was very handsome.

When I was a freshman in High School, my parents owned a business. One of their salesmen, was very very handsome. Tall, blonde, blue eyes, worked out alot. He was married though. Once when my parents went on a business trip he and his wife stayed at our house to watch me and my younger brothers. I spent lots of time at home that week. lol

Until I hit puberty, all of my crushes were on girls!

Miss Pierce in fourth grade of Winter St. elementary is the only one I remember. She used to turn the heads of every janitor and bus driver in the school.

In retrospect there was one high school music teacher that probably had a crush on me, but I was too busy being clumsy with girls my own age to notice.

As a teacher nowadays I'm on the receiving end of crushes once in a while, but so far it hasn't got me into any serious trouble. But the first few times I had to give the Psych 1 lecture on Freud's basic theories to a room full of very attractive 17-year-old girls I can imagine that my face showed some interesting colors.

In the USA, at least in my state, all teachers must be fingerprinted.
Is that the same way over where you are?
Are there many publicized "naughty" teachers over there like in the USA?

I haven't been printed, and I haven't heard of any scandals at the Jr. high or high school levels here at least. There was a recent scandal involving a girls' sports coach on international competition trips, but I honestly didn't care about the gory details.

In fact most psych teachers in this country, like myself, are also teachers of compulsory religious education lessons. (Separation of church and state is not nearly so complete in the Nordic region as in other parts of the world.) Thus most are very morally idealistic and restrained, and nervous breakdowns are far more common than abuse scandals.
