Youth and vigor are MEANINGLESS

NIV, Ecclesiastes 11:

9 You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see,

Enjoy your youth but be warned:

but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

Focus on the bigger picture:

10 So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless."

When you are young, enjoy the energy that you have. Like a vapor, your energy will be gone when you get old. Be wise and do not lose heart. Ultimately, only God was worthwhile, 12:

1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.

Youth and vigor, like everything else, are H1892-meaningless; only our Creator is meaningful.

Life on this earth is but a vapor when compared to eternal life with our Lord God. I remember the words of a famous Baptist preacher from a few decades ago when he said, "Live in the light of eternity."
As for the younger generations such as the Millennials, Generation Z and all of the rest of the young adults in popular culture, there are tons of ample evidence out there that they value the energy, strength, and stamina much higher than they do the patience, and wisdom that all of us older adults have learned.
