  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Israel was made up of 12 tribes...one nation, different camps.

What are the essentials? Should we reduce the faith to the 'essentials' or should we accept the faith in total? Who decides what the essentials are if not the church or the camp you belong to? Can we know the faith in total?

Peace.

One of the essentials is to recognize that we really are in a different dispensation. Your use of the word "was" actually attests to that fact.

Another attestation is your use of the words "the faith" with which I agree wholeheartedly. Faith by itself can/and does often mean whatever one might prefer. There are myriad "faiths" among the nations.

"The faith" is putting one's trust in the finished work of Calvary's Cross as being the one requirement for eternal fellowship with our Loving Saviour.

You are probably familiar with the definition of the phrase Jesus uttered just before His death... "it is finished" means... the debt is paid! There is nothing more that God or man can do to effect our salvation.

To which I must say...HALLELUJAH!
