Righto, perhaps you can explain why you went on a rant about how silly it would be be that using proper terminology would cause misunderstandings when @pitabred actually said the exact opposite, and explained why?

I couldn't really figure out what he was trying to argue there. It seemed like either misunderstanding my prior post and/or he was trying to argue in favor of equivocation.

But given that the discussion had descended into arguing about arguing, I lost interest at that point...

here is something similar:

Fossils push back snake origins by 65 million years

as you can see: we can even push back a creature by about 65 my. its like pushing back human to dinos age. so this is one example of "out of place" fossil. but as you can see: no problem for evolution.

but this gene is indeed shared between far species but not in some species between them. so according to this we can never tell where is a case of convergence. we can always claim for convergent loss. see the problem?

Interesting that despite your ability to use google, you never seem able to present any actual evidence in SUPPORT of creation/ID, all just nitpicky 'attacks' on evolution (and, of course, the same long-ago refuted silly claims about robots and the like).

Since the others have failed, you think you can prove evolution for us?

Since the ToE is incredibly well-supported science if you want to overthrow it the way to go is to write an article for peer-review.

Arguing (badly) on a messageboard do you no favours.

Not being able to prove your claims consistently on a message board, does you no favors, and all the claims you will prove it, then copping out is a complete waste of others time.

Arguing what? No one here seems to be able to get off the ground with their proof so nothing to argue about. Seems to me you aren't arguing at all, wanna know why? :D

Here, lets' try this...would you like to prove evolution, or make more excuses?

What "us" is that?

Really?

Another needless long winded explanation... *sigh.

Maybe I can help you figure these out for yourself. First, simply ask yourself, who would one need to prove evolution too? or anything for that matter, the general concept might even be more helpful here.

If you still haven't figured it out after answering, just let me know, always happy to take the time.

The scientific community. Anybody else can either take it or leave it.

Then why do you go on so with "anybody else"? Seems you made a similar claim before then turned right around and proved yourself wrong there....too.

I'm here because of the politics: many of your fellow creationists want creationism taught in place of science in the public schools. Even so, "proving" evolution is not necessary, merely demonstrating that creationism is not science.

Your Thoughts on Creation & Evolution

This doesn’t need to be a scientific or religious dissertation, simply what you feel about the subject.
The universe is old and planet earth is old, but the life on planet earth today is young.

After prehistoric life on planet earth became extinct many years ago, God re-created new life on planet earth 6 to 12 thousand years ago.

What we are observing today is new earth life on an old earth planet.

Genesis 1 is describing that new earth life being re-created on an old earth planet in six days.

The "heaven" in Genesis 1:1 is referring to the re-creation of the earth's atmosphere, more specifically the troposphere.

And the "earth" in Genesis 1:1 is referring to the re-creation of the earth's surface with its abundance of new life.

In other words, Genesis 1 is describing the re-creation of the planet's biosphere:

What other reason, better reason, would there be? I once had children in public schools, and I wouldn't have wanted them to be taught creationism instead of science, nor be vexed by the Fundamentalist Protestant prayer and Bible study which is usually intended to follow creationism into the curriculum. Nobody cares what you personally believe, or feels a need to prove anything at all to you. If creationists weren't trying to push creationism on the rest of us, nobody would push back.

Why are you here?

Out of curiosity, why are *you* here? You've already demonstrated a lack of interest in the sciences, so why continue with these goofy "prove evolution" demands?

Still using the "you don't know science" excuse to cover your inability to prove evolution I see..

You are simply and absolutely lying again, I have a great interest in science, I love it. I just don't use it as an excuse/weapon because I have nothing else to defend myself with..

I think it’s quite obvious.

It probably gets lonely under that bridge now the all goats have wised up.
