In this context, I am viewing "faith" as the construction of an answer in lieu of knowledge of the same.

I don't believe that one needs construct an answer for something in absence of real knowledge. I prefer to leave unanswered questions as unanswered.

In the context of Speedwell's question, this response seems to imply that you consider yourself the only Christian capable of understanding Genesis on the entire planet. Since no other Christians seem to share your particular views.

I read posts here and there, i mainly read atheist posts. As i previously said im unfamiliar with every creationist argument.

If they believe in Jesus then the logistics dont bother me. We are saved by coming to Christ not for believing a timeline for Adam.

My main position is God created the Earth. How that happened doesnt really bother me, if its this or that.

No.

If I go out with my husband and daughter, I might refer to the three as "us", but that doesn't mean I'm talking about myself and my work colleagues. Likewise, it doesn't follow that the use of the word "us" in the Bible refers to the trinity. It could very well be a leftover from polytheism.

I found a free pdf, i think page 61 and chapter 3 "Babylonian element of gensis" may be of interest.

Bear - "Fairly simple, really. If you study the development of religion the pre-Hebrews were polytheists. There are several places where the bible refers to us/Elohim (a plural noun for gods). So the story is almost certainly based on an earlier iteration involving multiple gods."

In this book you have recommended, where is the info to back up your claim or is chapter 3 the right place?

So we need to know what 'us' is in context to in this passage. How can we know who us is - in context here?

Suppose you were talking to someone who was trying to convince you that his god, the God of Lightning, was real. He gave the following proof to you that it was so:

1. Sometimes, when he prays to his god, he asks for a sign to let him know that he is making the right decision. Indeed, one stormy night, he asked his god to give him a sign to let him know if the girl he was dating at the time was "the one" and immediately the sky lit up like it was daytime with a bolt of lightning. He has been happily married, now, for 30 years.

2. His god is everywhere, and let's you know that he is with you always, from powering your headlights that keep you safe on the road at night, to touching you with a playful lick of static electricity, to entertaining you by powering your TV.

3. His life was once saved by his god after he had a heart attack. His heart was stopped and CPR was not working, so an EMT trained co-worker of his shocked him with a defibrillator and he was resurrected.

4. His god even revealed his face to him once when he was looking at a plasma globe, and the pattern, for a split second, revealed the image of his face.

How would you feel about this man's claims? Would you question his sincerity? Would you question his sanity? Why would you disbelieve him?

Yes. Genesis 2:19 lists beasts of the earth, and birds and Genesis 2:20 lists cattle. Lord Jesus also made the creeping things. Genesis 6:7

I think I see why you are confused. Here is the verse:

Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after His kind, and cattle after Their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after His kind: and God saw that it was good.

The comma was added to what was written in Hebrew. The mortal translator added the commas, which is obvious when you see the word "and" eliminates the need for such punctuation.
