Which what you'd expect, because they were much more muscular than anatomically modern humans. The size of you brain is as much a result of your muscle mass as it is of your intelligence, since neurons are required to operate them. Women, for example, tend to have smaller brains than men. As a different sub-species (some even suggest they are a different species), it's really uncertain how intelligent they were, compared to us. I see no sign, other than their cultural conservatism (their tool kit remained essentially the same for a very,very long time) that they were inferior to us in intelligence, and they may have just been differently organized to solve problems. They obviously found ways to survive in extremely harsh conditions, when anatomically modern humans were unable to compete with them in the worst of those climates.

The cerebral cortex is where the thinking happens.

The cerebral cortex is the largest site of neural integration in the central nervous system.[2] It plays a key role in attention, perception, awareness, thought, memory, language, and consciousness.

The folding of the mammalian cerebral cortex is an adaptation to increase the surface in a limited space. And yes, it does indicate intelligence.

It is obvious that today's Science cannot tell us the difference between Humans and animals.

In fact, we are animals. The difference is that God makes each of us a living soul directly, not though the agency of nature.

Humans have obviously evolved over time. Anatomically, there have been numerous changes, and today, we see various evolved changes in different human populations for different conditions. Would you like to learn about some of them?

The word soul, as used in the formation of Adam means "being". Adam was NOT made in the image of flesh, but prehistoric people were as evidence by their bones. We were NOT created by God the Trinity but instead, "formed" by the Hands of Jesus, called Lord God in Genesis Genesis 2:7 to be like Him. We lost our image like God when Adam sinned and was found in the likeness of flesh, just like prehistoric mankind, but with the mind of Christ. 1Co 2:16 ONLY the descendants of Adam have inherited his intelligence which is like God's. Genesis 3:22

I am a converted evolutionist. Looking like Humans does NOT make you one. The ONLY way to become Human is to inherit it from two other Humans (descendants of Adam). That's the Truth of Science, Scripture, History, Genetics, Math, and every other discovered Truth mankind has found since the Ark arrived.

If you think that you can disprove evolution, then you apparently DON'T know it enough. People with greater understand than you of evolution have failed to prove that evolution is wrong.

And if you think evolution is a religion then you REALLY don't know enough about evolution to claim you know enough to know it is wrong.

Not only is it self defeating to use the "evolution is religion" argument. It also casts doubt upon the beliefs of the person making that claim. It is rather strange that people with religious beliefs try to insult science by calling it "religion". By doing so they are showing that they do not have very much faith in their own beliefs. It is not the strong in faith that oppose evolution. Again and again I see evidence that it is the weak in faith that cannot handle the theory.

The reason you find coral in Michigan is NOT from a global flood . The western side of the North American plate was pulled down ( towards the core) allowing ocean water to flood the Midwest and part of central Canada . This fact of marine fossils in the Midwest has been misused by creationists to claim evidence for Noah’s Flood when that is not what had actually happened (see previous post)
