BTW, I meant my long, rambling discourse (which I had posted two posts earlier). I was not at all referring to the quote from RadMan that I posted along with the stuff above.

I was meaning to thank you, RadMan, but I just realized that my language was unclear. It could be read two ways and might come across as an insult, which definitely not my intention!

I actually kept a whole lot of my Catholic, Orthodox, and Evangelical books, including the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The only ones I got rid of were the ones that I was pretty sure I would never want to read or refer to again.

Jack Chick-----he's alright. His theology sucks but he has enough guts to tell it like it is. I wish his ideas had more foundation like the Alexandria bible was put together by a bunch of mystical heathens. I like the idea since the RC's Douay Version and the whole church is just a cover up for a pagan rite. Pagan holidays disguised as Christian.

Nah, the guy is out there and mixes just enough fact into his tracts to get people to bite. To put it in nice terms, he kind of a nutcase.

Has he written one about us yet? lol I can see it now:

He's on TV here in the NYC market. Has his own channel and everything. He's convinced that Christ will return on October 21, 2011. This is of course after his first prediction of 1987 came and went. He's a looney-bird.

Yup, he was trying to substantiate his prediction the other night.

I heard him many years ago, and he seems to be getting a little more weird with age.
