  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone, I am new here but really need prayer. I was married to a man for 17 years and we had four beautiful children that are ages 15, 17, 20 and 21 now.
He left me seven years ago for another woman and I vowed to never marry again, but God had other things in store for me.
I met an awesome Christian man while trying to get my car repaired, we have been married now for three years.
He has a daughter also 15 that lives with us, her mother walked out on her and her dad when she was 4. My 15 year old daughter also lives with us.
My oldest is married with children of her own. My son is in the service and my 17 year old is off to collage.
Drew (my husband) and I are so wanting to have a child of our own. The only problem is that when I was 24 I had my tubes tied. I have found a doctor here that has a 90% success rate at reversing the tubes, but the surgery is going to cost us 5,500.
I need prayer that God supplies the money for me to have this done soon. I am 38 and don't want to wait too many more years. Better yet everyone would pray that God just do a God thing and have me conceive without the surgery would be an awesome blessing.
Thank you so much for any prayers you can send up on our behalf ....

It's amazing how God always has plans of his own, which can, as you know, be totally unexpected. God let you find this man for reasons that are only known to him. Just pray, and pray constantly. I'll certainly be praying for you. If it is in God's plan, you will, without a doubt get what you need to have the surgery done. Don't lose hope! And who knows, God could say "now is not the time, my child", and as sad as that might be, keep in mind that God's plan for you is always the best, even if it hurts at times.
Praying that God will let you have this child,
