...My youngest son Titus had an appendectomy tonight~apparently his appendix ruptured a few days ago so he was in pretty bad shape. They said he'll be in hospital for a while.

The surgeon said he'll probably stay in the hospital through the weekend~it was pretty bad He's seems to be doing ok, all the folks at the hospital are so nice.

Your story is not unique. Other children have been misdiagnosed with stomach flu when they were having an acute appendicitis attack and later rupture.
