Please check this thread in the "discuss rules" forum that is designed to give information about the upcoming annihilationist discussion by the executives.

PLEASE NOTE. You cannot argue the issue there. It will get the thread closed. Please do not do that. Just add information that might be helpful to their decision.

This has been in the works for a while, and it is great that the Executives have agreed to hear the issue. I do not know where it will wind up going, but please express your thanks for their time as well.

if you feel like it just mention your thoughts on the subject. Don't debate the actual topic...just your thoughts on the policy discussion, why you feel it is important to you to post on it, etc.

Oops, then I went a little overboard (could you let a sister know these things in ADVANCE brother?) HA!

I probably didn't emphasize enough that so many people become atheist BECAUSE of having hell pounded into their head so much. One of the most famous atheists in our country had a pastor for a father that taught HELL, HELL, HELL.

Hehe...better not to ask. We never know. They don't announce such things. There is one issue that has been promised to be reviewed since December!

But that is part of why I started that thread, to give info and to get them thinking.

It is the execs that make the decision, by the way, not the moderators.

Here is a summary of the power structure here.

Execs
Admins
Supervisors
Senior moderators/moderators.

Only Execs and Admins are directly responsible for site policy.

That is the simple version. Here is the not so simple:

The good news is that Angel Amidala asked a question about the topic. She is one of the executives. The fact that she is looking into it is a good sign.

Well this may get bumped, but I will try not to say the "A" word.

The Bible says, "The soul that sinneth shall surely die."

It says only the believers and followers of Christ will have eternal life.

Now for my old question I had way years ago when I started studying the Bible; "If the wicked burn forever and ever, isn't that eternal life for the wicked?"

If they burn forever and forever, how is it I will walk on their ashes (Malachi)?

I got my questions answered. The wicked do not have eternal life.

Well, guess I didn't commit the unpardonable sin. However, I do not intend to press my luck either.

I am new here, and when I logged on I saw a thing on the envelope and thought I got the thread closed! Now I see it is just telling me I posted here.

Nifty thingy, huh. The other forums don't have that. I like it. I love it!

Now back to regularly scheduled programing.
