People need to know the truth about hell. This is why Christians have a duty to preach the good news and tell people about Jesus Christ so that these people can make the right choice before its too late. I certainly believe in hell. Its what made me crack on January 19 2003 and give my life to the Lord because I couldn't handle another second of being hellbound.
Thus proving what spirituality stated. You were afraid of hell, threatened by it, so you became christian to escape the wrath you would recieve in said supposed hell.

No you have a good point ametropia. Not everybody is necessarily scared into the chritian religion or forced to stay there out of fear. Som people just truly believe that god is who they think he is and that's that so they live life happily etc. like you say you do. But some people can be affected in such away that they're more forced into accepting christianity rather than discovering it for themselves and truly liveing the way of happiness for the fears one used. In modern countries people aren't forced to join a religion but in third world countries they are because religion exercises alot of control. It's just the way it is, Maybe something could be done about it but who's gonna change make the effort to make that change?

well, yes. It's always very unsettling to discover that you have been forced to do somehting after you were convinced you did it of your own free will. I don't mean unsettling in a subtle manner iether. usually one would scream and rant and carry on and complete attempt to do away with and deny whatever it was they were forced into. Of course not everybpdy does it such an abrupt manner or in that exact order...

There is hell as Jesus refered to the word several time.
I came to Jesus not from fear of hell but from love. I could not understand how someone would die for me. Now I understand.

When I look back on it I do have to ask myself if I was hell bound. I can't answer that question for this reason. Accountability comes from two things. Age and knowledge. If I were to die at 20 what would have happened. I did not understand this "Jesus". In one sense of the word I would have been hell bound. In another I would have not since "I did not understand and HE new it"

God does not send anyone to hell. You send yourself. Someone died for your sin and paid the price. To reject is to call him a liar. Do you actually believe that God will let you call his son a liar and get away with it? There is no consequence to your action? You WILL pay the price.

Future speculation is a heachey thing. as I like to say soemtimes "thinking leads to dweeling, dwelling leads to headaches, thereofore thinking is bad" lol. But *shrugs* people are different and do learn best in their own way.
