Off the top of my head ...

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
I think it is a beautifully made film with a rather interesting plot, especially considering the subject matter. I've never quite connected with the negative reviews it received as I certainly did not find it emotionally hollow, in fact I did connect with how someone who becomes obsessed with capturing a perfect scent could be driven to murder, to do what the film depicts, and the ending ... well, it was fitting. The book was possibly more enjoyable for me, but the film is still exquisite.

Stardust
I have no idea why, I think I like the idea of someone realising having to win the love of someone else with material possessions is not really any kind of love at all. Or maybe it was just Robert De Niro in drag that turned the film from good to great. I don't know. Again the book was more enjoyable but the film tantalised the eyes.

I've enjoyed others, even become a little obsessed with them at one point or another, but i've not had the urge to watch them again and again like these two. That or it's been so long since they were watched i'm fuzzy on the plots and can't really call them favourites until they've reawakened joy in my heart.

Mr. Deeds- It's just a sweet little funny movie.

To Kill A Mockingbird- One of those rare films that was as good as the book. And Gregory Peck is very handsome and gives a stellar performance.

The Goonies- It's just fun. I grew up on a street with all boys and 2 brothers ; so it reminds me a lot of the games we invented

What About Bob?- It makes me laugh so hard

Far and Away- It's a beautiful film from before Tom Cruise made me cringe.

Roman Holiday- Gregory Peck AND Audrey Heburn- yes please! She won an oscar for this role at a time when she was fairly unknown.

so many more....

Casablance ("Here's looking at you kid")

My top ten favorite movies (in no particular order):

The Empire Strikes Back-Took the fun adventure of the first film and added depth to the story and characters.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day-Great action, but an even better story that deals with moral issues that are actually relevant to today’s world

The Dark Knight-The greatest superhero movie of all time.

The Godfather-Everything in this movie is top notch: acting, directing, writing, etc . . .

Inglourious Basterds-No one can write dialogue like Tarrantino can!

Vertigo-A love story that actually is just the medium for telling the perfect murder story; very different from what Hitchcock normally does.

Beauty and the Beast-When I think of a “Disney movie” I think of this. The greatest thing Disney has ever made.

Pee Wee’s Big Adventure-Hilarious from beginning to end.

Gran Torino-This movie deserved so much more attention than it received. It’s way better than Million Dollar Baby, which won the Academy Award for best film.

The Ten Commandments-Such an epic film (especially for 1956). It really captures the weight of what the Exodus was and what it meant.

YEAH!! reading some of these post made me realize I forgot some real good inspiring movies I've seen lately or before and forgot to mention

City of Angels!!! WOW How could I forget was a movie I saw like 5 times repeated over and still was amazed by it. The concept was awesome...though the ending seemed to send a message that he was still going to enjoy life despite the downside, but It was cool.

Faith like Potatoes-the acting might need some help and sometimes a bit draggy at some points, but when the story starts rolling and his life changes it just shows you how sometimes life truly can be a rollercoaster ride, but with God...all things are possible.

Facing the Giants-! LOVE THIS MOVIE!

FLY Wheel-Makes me think sometimes...When you start off doing things wrong...yes it might catch up to you, but If you truly change...God has a way of making things right. :)

FireProof-Love it!

ohh I just found out there's a new Movie from Alex Kendrick called COURAGEOUS. Wanna see it.

The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 (the original 1974 version - the 2009 update's good, but doesn't have the same dark humor and '70s grit)
Smokey and the Bandit
The Blues Brothers
Office Space
Horrible Bosses (just saw this one last weekend)
Back to the Future II (I've always thought it was underrated - just as good as, but rarely shown as much as, the first)
Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog
Fight Club
The Trotsky
Billy Madison
The Waterboy
Mr. Deeds
