Your Dream Wedding

Got our engagement pictures back... Unfortunately most of them turned out really bad and unflattering. There were enough good ones to order save the dates, but we're doing a redo session so he can figure out how to take better pictures of us before the wedding day. Thankfully he was really sweet about it.

Not sure if anyone would have any interest in this- but considering I've been dumping wedding stuff here

On our wedding website there were spaces to tell our story. Instead of writing our story, we decided to each tell our side of the story (totally separate) and then splice them together. Here are the results:

@Bortsss I hope you don't mind me bumping this thread. Lately I've been in a pinterest wedding mood and thought I'd post a few photos in this thread

Obviously I'm single right now, there is no man in sight, but I enjoy thinking about the decor aspect of a wedding, what would be a good month and so on. I'm terrified of bees so if we did the wedding in say a summer month, or a potentially hot day, I really would rather have an indoor wedding. lol I don't think it would be very flattering for the bride to be a runaway bride because she saw a bee jetting toward her.

On the other hand, maybe if we had an outdoor wedding somewhere where bees weren't that common. Like a coastal area or something like that.

I know I'm a little late to this, I don't even remember seeing these photos but these turned out wonderful. I especially love the 2nd photo. You guys make a gorgeous couple and I see so much love between the two of you even in just photos.

On a different note, I've never really been the kind of girl who loves "blush and bashful" wedding decor but honestly since watching a couple Cole and Savannah LaBrant on youtube, I've seen their color scheme of their wedding quite a few times and it's really gorgeous. I'm definitely starting to enjoy the softer colors like these:

To add to my OP, I think I'd ask whoever preacher is officiating the wedding to describe the mystery of human marriage compared to the bridegroom and the church. My prayer would be that Holy Spirit convicts so hard that people would be won to the Lord that day or at least somewhere down the road as the Word is watered in fertile heart soil

A girl can dream crazy things about her wedding. My dream is to see his dreams for us. So I would rather let my man’s visions come alive. I would like him to design our wedding as he envisions for us. I know my heavenly bridegroom has the best plans and preparations made for his bride. Likewise, my God loving partner would also do for us.

I'd be just as happy taking out a marriage license and having any qualified public official do it.

My ideal is a weekend event at a venue with accommodations, a chapel, and lots of greenery. I’d like a slower pace and the opportunity to form lifelong memories with loved ones through shared meals, laughter, games and quality time.
