Mike Warnke certainly had a lot of issues, but he still was pretty funny.
One time he was recounting how, after a stand-up routine at a church, one little old lady came up to him after the show and scolded "Long hair is a disgrace to a man," bringing the full weight of I Corinthians 11:14 onto Mike's poofy 80s-style mullet.
Mike's reply: "Where's your hat?"
It just seems a little odd to insist people follow some rules while Christian society just ignores others. Instead, let other reasons (like health) be the guide. I don't see anything inherently unhealthy about tattoos, for instance. But I probably won't ever get one myself -- I can't think of any picture I like enough to see it every day for the rest of my life.
