CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hmm...that's a toughie. It seems like I turn things off a lot more often than I unplug them. IIRC, it was my iPod charger that I unplugged last.

My favorite gift that I recieved was my "Wicked" hooded sweatshirt. My favorite gift that I gave was the reflexology insoles that I gave my mom...but then again, that was the only "real" gift that I gave, since I had no idea what to get my brother or my father and just ended up giving them each a $20 check.

Well i don't believe that if we don't stop polluting and doing all these harmful things to our country then one day our planet will get so hot it will explode...but I think that the earth might be changing its temp a little...which is fine with me And i also think that God has a plan for everything and its not our job to try and interfere with that.

I was sitting in the car waiting on my buddy get something out of his house, and I glanced at the back door and seen someone looking at me through a screen door. This figure was very short, less than 5ft tall. It couldnt of been my friend or his dad because they are both well over 6ft tall. It creeped me out to say the least, but that kind of stuff happens all the time at that house. ( I know, I know, I'm a weirdo for believing in ghost ! )

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. Not as good as his other two books, but apparently he had to split book 3 into two books because he has tons of character development to pull off. So book 4 is forthcoming, hopefully sooner than this one was. (There was an almost 3 year gap between books 2 and 3.)
